Watch Setup & Pairing Guide

Follow this guide to enable and pair the 5M Watch with 5M Phone.

Step 1: Enable Watch in Phone Config

In 5M_Phone/configuration/config.lua, ensure:

Config.Watch = true -- Enable smartwatch bridge & companion sync

Step 2: Configure 5M Watch

In 5M_Watch/config.lua:

    ItemName = 'smart_watch',   -- Inventory item name
    ItemRequired = true,        -- Must possess watch item to display
    RequirePairing = true,      -- Requires Bluetooth PIN pairing code with phone
    OpenKey = 'N',              -- Keybind to raise wrist / view watch
    SyncWithPhone = true,       -- Sync notifications and health stats with phone
}

Step 3: Resource Start Order

In your server.cfg, start 5M_Phone before 5M_Watch:

ensure 5M_Phone
ensure 5M_Watch

Step 4: In-Game Pairing Procedure

1. Give your character both the finals_phone and smart_watch items.
2. Press M to open the smartphone.
3. Open the 5Watch app on the phone home screen.
4. Click Pair New Watch to generate a secure 6-digit Bluetooth PIN.
5. Press N to open the smartwatch, enter the 6-digit PIN, and tap Connect.
6. The watch and phone are now permanently paired!
